Ashlee And Pete Prepare For Baby!!!

With her belly growing each day, Ashlee Simpson gushed to ET Canada about baby prep and marital bliss.

The singer, who confirmed the pregnancy back in May, says she and husband Pete Wentz have been knee-deep in baby-proofing their Hollywood home.

"We're getting the nursery ready," said Simpson. "I can't wait to be a mom and he can't wait to be a dad, so it's fun."

"I have the greatest husband," she said. "He's so awesome. It's fun to have somebody that I love to do this with."

Having her family around has been comforting too. "My mom and my grandmother [have] given me good motherly advice," said Simpson, "but it's one of those things where your mother instincts kind of kick in right away."

Other things on their to-do list? Picking a baby name. But Simpson says they haven't settled on one yet.

After joking about calling their kid "Orange," Simpson said, "I don't think it's something we'll decide until the baby comes."

She's also been writing a few new tunes, but won't jump back into the studio until her little bundle is born.

"The baby is my main focus right now," she says. "We're both so excited. I mean, this is definitely the happiest moment in my life."

Audrina Patridge The HomeWrecker!!

Audrina Patridge and Ashlee Simpson have shared a lover in the past.

While pop-star Ryan Cabrera was dating Ashlee Simpson, Audrina used her vindictive ways to catch his eye.

"Ryan can act kind of shy and reserved on the outside, but he's actually quite the ladies' man, and he and Audrina really hit it off," a friend says. "I don't think he ever mentioned Ashlee to her — and I don't think Audrina ever asked!"

Ryan started calling and texting Audrina and it wasn't long before he was giving her a tour of his million dollar home while his buddies partied elsewhere in the house. The next morning, one of his guests opened Ryan's bedroom door and "found him and Audrina dead asleep, lying next to each other in bed, with the covers barely covering their naked bodies!"

And this is all while Ashlee was dating and madly in love with him. Good thing that didn't last, I guess she wouldn't be where she is now; happily married and pregnant with her first child. It always works out for the good people...Who's Audrina with now?? That's right--her boytoy of the week..don't even know who because she goes through them so quick no one can keep track.

Simpson Girls Looking Pretty!!

Jessica looks beautiful on a night out, but her bag is just not my style. It would be cute if it was maybe half the size, but that wouldn't be Jessica. She is famous for having way too big purses, and this one fits her criteria; it's almost the same size as her. When I think of the clutch bag, I think of something tiny and cute..hmm I don't know, guess I was wrong!!




Momma to be Ashlee all dressed up and looking nice. Normally she is very tomboyish from her style to her body shape, so it's nice to see that she has been showing up places wearing dresses more often, and her body already seems to be taking on some of those pregnancy curves. She really does look great. Oh and that huge rock on her finger does always makes a nice accessory haha!!

Ashlee Enjoys A Quiet Night Out!!

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, had a quiet business dinner at Il Sole in West Hollywood. Greeted by fans on her way into the Italian eatery, the mom-to-be was "totally sweet and very gracious," says a restaurant patron. "They were complimenting her music and Ashlee raved about Jessica's country album."

Suprise New BFF'S

So the last couple of days Mr. Ashlee Simpson aka Pete Wentz has been hanging out with John Mayer...at John's house. Supposedly they have been getting together to play guitar together....maybe a new song with both of them is in the works??

Yesterday Pete left John's house after a private tattoo party with some new ink on his arm. At first I thought maybe it would be Ashlee's name but it looks like a picture, so maybe a picture of her, or maybe nothing to do with her at all..I don't know. It's hard to tell with it all bandaged up.

I wonder if Jessica Simpson is pissed that her new brother in law is hanging out with her ex all the time. Not just any ex but the ex she is supposedly still not over!!

Pete And Ashlee Are Excited to Be Parents!!

Newlyweds Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson are expecting their first child this year.

In an interview with E! News at the Op clothing launch party in Los Angeles, Wentz revealed he's "excited to be a dad."

"I'm genuinely a nervous person in general," said Wentz.

But finding out he was expecting a child with Ashlee was an exception.

"The first time I ever went to the doctor's office and heard the (baby's) heartbeat, I felt totally content and at peace with everything," he said.

Aww that is so sweet. I loved how he said how at peace he was with everything after hearing the baby's heartbeat, it shows how mature & caring he really is. Maybe the world is wrong about these two, maybe they really are meant to be together. So many people/sites out there talk shit about them, but I really like them--they seem so sweet and completely in love with each other, and in the end, that's all that matters!!

Jessica thinks Ashlee will be an "Absolutely Amazing" Mom!!

I love these two sisters. They never have drama, at least none that is ever shown publicly. They are always so caring and supportive of each other. It's really nice to see celebrity siblings behaving this way.

The 3 of them(Jess,Ashlee and Pete) were all in Las Vegas this weekend at the grand opening of Palms Place. Pete was Dj'ing the event and the sisters hung out in the VIP area taking lots of pictures including a bunch like this one above with Jess's hand on Ashlee's baby bump.

Jess was heard telling everyone, "She'll be amazing, absolutely amazing, They're just the cutest couple in the world," she says. "They are adorable. Anybody would wish to be them and you can only wish them well".

Jessica who is now trying to produce country music said that her sister's relationship with Pete inspires her own music, "Just being around them inspires love and everything I sing about." Aww that's so sweet.

And at the end of Pete's two-hour set, he thanked his "baby mama."

It seemed like a really great time for all of them. I love them so I was happy to hear about all this.

Ashlee Simpson..Pregnant and Taking the Wentz Name!!

Like I had already said, Ashlee and Pete Wentz have confirmed that they are expecting their first child.

"While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child," they wrote on Wentz's site, friendsorenemies.com. "This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family."

The bride, who has changed her name to Ashlee Wentz but will go by Ashlee Simpson-Wentz professionally, "I would love to have a big family one day."
Added her new husband: "A big soccer team or a band!"

That's cool, I'm very happy for them, even though I already knew this was coming. As for the name change thing, I didn't see that happening, usually musicians keep their names.

Baby Bump Watch??

This picture is from Ashlee Simpson's and Pete Wentz's honeymoon. Rumors are she is pregnant and I guess I can see a small baby bump here.Or it could be she is actually enjoying her honeymoon and eating, but hey what do i know?? If she is pregnant, it's probably the only reason they did get married and a rushed wedding at that. With her dad being a minister and the rest of her family very religious, guess they figured they could pretend they were married first then came baby. But maybe they weren't thinking that people could count and eventually figure it out that the baby came first!!

Ashlee and Pete signed a Pre-Nup

“We have signed a pre-nup,” the newlywed rocker admitted on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show Tuesday. (Ashlee was asleep, he said.) He said “she legally is a Wentz … I don’t know what she’ll do with her stage name, that’s up to her. She hasn’t decided that.”

He said they’re skipping out on a honeymoon (for now) and have been hanging out in their basement in L.A. “We got some blow-up palm trees,” Wentz said. “A little fake-n-bake tanning booth. We’re eating DiGiorno’s pizza, getting in that tanning oven every once in a while, it’s great. It’s gonna look like we’re on that private jet,” he added. “We’re gonna save that 30 grand, you know?” I feel great!” he said. “It is sunny and 65 in my head.”

Wentz still refused to confirm Simpson’s pregnancy. When Seacrest asked why they decided to wed now, Wentz replied, “I get the backdoor question you’re asking me, but it’s been something we’ve been planning for a long time. I gave her a promise ring four months ago.” Seacrest later asked if he’s thought about baby names. Wentz laughed. “Ryan, this baby has not been confirmed,” he said. “The only thing I’m confirming now is that we’re in the basement on our honeymoon with these blow-up palm trees.”

I think it's funny he ran onto Ryan Seacrest's show while Ashlee was sleeping to tell the world they signed a pre-nup. I think it was weird, like why wouldn't the new happy couple go on together?? And I think their lying about this baby. I think a baby will be popping out in a couple months. Who cares if he gave her a promise ring 4 months ago? Why rush into marriage unless something else was coming? like say a baby? I don't know, guess we will see!!!

Here Comes The Bride!!!

"We're delighted to confirm that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were married this evening in front of family and close friends," said the spokesperson.

Ashlee reportedly walked down the aisle a little after 7 p.m.

Simpson, 23, wore an ivory lace wedding gown by Monique Lhuillier accessorized with a diamond necklace and earrings by Neil Lane as she and Wentz, 28, exchanged vows in front of 150 guests at her parents' Los Angeles area home.

Dad Joe Simpson performed the non-denominational ceremony, while sister Jessica served as maid of honor. Wentz's English bulldog, Hemingway, was the ring-bearer.


Guests included Jessica's ex-boyfriend, Tony Romo, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, as well as actor Donald Faison with girlfriend CaCee Cobb. Wolfgang Puck attended as well as catered the event.

With the help of wedding planner Mindy Weiss, Simpson got her dream nuptials: The Alice in Wonderland themed reception featured a wedding cake by Sam Godfrey of Perfect Endings with a top hat, tea pot, stop watch and a pot of flowers on top. The elaborate centerpieces of black beauty roses were by Mark's Garden. Guests were served Rose Veuve Clicquot champagne followed by a sit-down dinner and dancing to a DJ.

Reports are also saying Simpson is pregnant with the couple’s first child,

Us magazine exclusively claims that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz will get married in 5 days, this Saturday, May 17th, at a secret location. Us says...

"Proper invites have not been sent out but instead guests have been given a save the date notice," the source told Us.
The rehearsal dinner – described by the source as "an intimate affair" for "family and close friends only" – will take place on Friday.
On Saturday, "all guests will be transported in shuttles to the wedding location," the source explained.
Regarding Simpson's upcoming wedding, her spokesperson told Us: "This is a private matter. There is nothing to confirm."

If this is true then I wish them happiness. They make a real cute couple and unlike other people *cough cough Nick and Mariah* they have actually been dating for a while.

Ashlee Simpson thinks Britney Spears is "TRASHY"

Britney Spears is "trashy," Ashlee Simpson says.


Ashlee appeared on the Nokia Green Room with fiance Pete Wentz, she recalled fielding a question about "having too many Britney Spears" (yes, the Britster is a slang term now).

"In an interview the other day, they asked me what I thought, 'You've had one too many Britney Spears' means," Ashlee says. "I was like, 'What?' And they said it means you've had one too many beers."

Without missing a beat, "I was like, 'Oh, you've had one too many trashy girls!"

Ashlee then fell into a fit of giggles and expressed remorse over the comment afterwards.

"I was like, 'Oh my God, I can't believe I just said that!" Ashlee says. "It was really bad. I felt horrible."

Right, I'm sure you did. And how the hell does "You have had one too many Britney Spears", have anything to do with beer??? I really don't get it--It's pretty stupid.

"Of course," the 27-year-old told said when asked if she'll be standing next to Ashlee on her big day.

But she can't help gushing about her engagement.
