TV's Highest Paid Writer???

Photobucket

Seth MacFarlane, creator of Family Guy and American Dad, has signed a deal with 20th Century Fox TV that could make him television's highest-paid writer/producer. Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed, but should all MacFarlane's projects hit their goals, the pact could be worth in excess of $100 million.

The agreement keeps MacFarlane at 20th Century Fox TV through 2012, and not only retains his services on his current animated series but also covers his work on the upcoming Family Guy spin-off The Cleveland Show plus other developing projects.

''I get a lot of pleasure out of making shows,'' MacFarlane said. ''It's a bonus to be getting paid well for it, and it's a double bonus to be getting paid exorbitantly for it.''
